Jeff is an accomplished trumpet and flugelhorn player with over 35 years experience. He has
used his talents to minister and lead congregations in worship in many different settings, including; Sunday services, youth
retreats and concerts. Jeff also has a unique singing style, and can minister in song with his bold baritone voice.
Jeff is lead trumpet player at his home church, The Assembly at Broken Arrow, and is a soloist in
concerts around the country. Jeff also appears in concert with Dave Boyer, and with the Tulsa Praise Orchestra several
times each year, and plays professionally with the ORU Pep Band.
Jeff is a recipient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. Honoring outstanding
jazz students, the Armstrong Award recognizes the highest achievement in jazz performance.
The certificate reads, In recognition of outstanding achievement by an instrumentalist in the field of jazz, as demonstrated through superior
musicianship, character, and individual creativity.
